Thanksgiving By Lila Childre My Thanksgiving is always held at my grandparents’ house in Albany. All my cousins and ants and uncles get there about 10:30 so we can still watch the Thanksgiving day parade that is on the TV .while we are watching the parade my grand mother “Honey” is in the kitchen the very good food like turkey, mac and cheese and all of those good Thanksgiving foods. After the parade my cousins, my brother and i go out side and play football, baseball tag and hide and go seek. While we are playing out side we can smell the food from inside. Then it is time to go eat the very good food that Honey cooked. If you aren’t to full and tired, we go out side again with all of my family and my dog Pal and play those fun games again. You could here us playing when you walk down the street. Some times it is so cold we don’t even go out side but last year thank the good Lord it was a very nice day.Then it is time to leave. Even though it is time to leave we look forward to next years Thanksgiving.
